Antibiotics are very popular because they are very effective in combating even the most serious illnesses. However, reckless use of these medications has resulted in development of super bugs that are immune to such medications. Today, it is advisable to stick to traditional and ordinary medicine before moving on to antibiotics in the event of failure or ineffectiveness of such medicines.
Consuming antibiotics always leads to certain harmful side effects in the body. Of course, the benefits of consuming such medications far outweigh the risks involved in the side effects. Blurring of vision or diarrhea because of antibiotics is very common. One of the best ways to minimize the side effects and consequences of antibiotics is to consume a lot of water. The body may often react negatively to the medications and the intestine is the first organ to be affected.
If the body does not absorb sufficient water, it may result in diarrhea and other such complications. Having adequate water after consuming antibiotics is always a safe option. Many persons find it convenient to have such medications along with tea or coffee.
The biggest problem involved in such an approach is the consumption of caffeine that takes place automatically. Caffeine affects the ability of the body to retain water. When you are ill, the combination of caffeine and antibiotics may make you feel even worse, at least in the short term.
The best option is to avoid such substance along with alcohol when one is on a dose of antibiotics. One can always go back to the normal lifestyle after becoming healthy again.
